An AI appliance that runs language models and document search on your own premises. Your team reaches it through your network; what connects to the outside world is a decision you make with us, not a default.

Privacy is where
we start.
Custodia began in data privacy and AI governance. Sentinel is what that work taught us to build.
Run the AI entirely on site.
Sentinel’s models run on the appliance itself, not a cloud AI service. Prompts and documents never reach an AI provider, and it keeps working offline once set up.
Build for the people doing the work.
Our first application came from a working clinical practice. We start from real workflows, not from a model looking for a use.

Custodia Privacy Consulting SAGL is based in Switzerland. We design, configure and support Sentinel appliances, and work directly with each organisation that runs one.
Co-founders
Federico Brooks
Federico has spent his career building AI governance and data privacy products. He co-founded Custodia to make private, local AI practical for organisations that can’t send their most sensitive work to someone else’s servers.
Thomas Brooks
Tom works across the pharmaceutical, cultural and technology sectors. He founded Brick42, a Swiss supplier of active pharmaceutical ingredients, and leads leadership workshops on emotional intelligence and critical thinking.
